I know I'm not with the majority on this one...but I love the rain. I could do without the bone chilling drenching type. But the overcast clouds, the drizzley, showery type of rain?? I love it. And I love that my little girl has this quality. She'll ask " when's it gonna rain? I LOVE rain mom." We especially like hikes in the rain :). I'm thinking this weekend during carneyville Boatnik, we will go take a ramble in the rain through the woods instead.
I do however look forward to those long summer days that are a comin'. Sprinkler running, river playing, camping, staying up late. Ah summer. If we could just keep those temps under 100 I'd be happy. Oh yes and Otter pops by the hundreds. We have a rule around here that if the temp rises above 95 the kids get unlimited Popsicle's...
and on a totally separate not, sometimes I feel tired enough to fall asleep sitting up but it has yet to happen. This little monkey has successfully accomplished this though.
and yes he has an apple. When the camera clicked he dropped the apple. He reached over to pick it up completely comatose, never once opening his eyes:).

i love the rain too. i guess thats what comes from growing up in oregon most of my life. i love the picture. he is sooooo adorable.
